Keynote: How publishers can create the future of media

Media is the industry that is being most disrupted by digital, according to a study published in Harvard Business Review. No surprise there. The question is how the media industry can best respond to change, recognising challenges and seizing new opportunities.

Schibsted, Scandinavia's largest publisher with a presence in 30 countries around the world, is considered globally to be at the vanguard of the media industry. At the most recent International News Media Association annual awards, Schibsted and its Oslo masthead Aftenposten both garnered multiple first places, including for world's best innovation and best use of data analytics.

I was recently invited to Oslo to give the keynote on Creating the Future of Media at #SchibstedNEXT, Schibsted's annual event for the Scandinavian media industry.
